Instructions for Use in Adults

For needle insertion or treatment of localised lesions:

Apply 1.5g to 2.0g over 10 cm² of skin for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 5 hours.

For superficial surgical and cosmetic procedures on larger areas:

Use maximum of 60g over 600 cm² of skin for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 5 hours

Instructions for Use in Younger Children and Newborns

For needle insertion or treatment of localized lesions in children aged 1–6 years:

Apply up to 10g over 100 cm² of skin for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours (based on age)

For needle insertion or treatment of localised lesions in newborn babies less than 3 months:

A maximum dose 1g over 10 cm² applied for 1 hour has been suggested as safe

*Cover for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 5 hours. For split skin grafting apply 2 hours before procedure. For procedures on adult male genital skin apply numit cream 15 minutes beforehand.

**not suitable for premature infants
